A Government cable announceVthat the City of New York reached San Francisco oh Sunday. There are no particulars. Last Night; • A later telegram has been received by the Government from 'Frisco stating that, the delay to the mail steamer City of New York was caused by the breaking of the crank pin four days after the steamer left Auckland.
