YESTERDAY'S SITTING.

[by eleotbic telegraph, own correspondent.] Cambridge, Last Night. Mr Maokay apologised to the Court for the expression made use of on Monday, and which had since appeared in the Waikato papers, to the effect that the Court wished to intimidato him from maintaining the interests of his clients, by threatening to rescind the order iv block 2a. He did not intend that the expression should apply as it had appeared in print. He was conscious of the courtesy of the Court towards him in granting a patient hearing on all occasions. He would therefore withdraw the offensive expressions. The Court said that it considered the remarks highly improper at the time, but as Mr Mackay had expressed his regret at having used them, it would consider the expressions as never having been used. Sub-division No. 4a was then gone into. Mr McDonald remarked that the Court had granted an adjournment yesterday, so that the dispute regarding the boundaries, titles, &c, might be settled amongst the agents outside. He now regretted to say that they had failed to do so. After explaining the reason for so doing, he applied for permission to leave the Court and relinquish his post in the case, having failed to effect anything like an agreement with his clients. Mr McDonalds application was granted. The other agents went on with the case, and after discussing the matter at some length, the native representatives became very noisy, and the Court informed them that it would have them expelled from the building if they did not obey the orders of the Court and sit down. The Court rose at 4 o'clock, nothing whatever being done.
