Messrs. Banks and Co.'s weekly report. — Owing to Thursday being St. Patrick's Day, .mtl a general holiday, our sale this week was held on Wednesday It is with pleasure we remark upon the growing popularity of our sale atParawai, .is evinced by the weekly increasing number of fat stock brought forwaid for auction, our last sale being the largest we we have vet had to report. 'I he fat cattle offered were chiefly steers from Mr Larkworthy's station,' Waitoa, and draught stoci s and heifers from the property of the late Mr Kolly, Purtn. Among them were some of very prime quality. Notwithstanding the large number, the whole were disposed of to the local trade at satisfactory prices. Sheep were in adequate supply. Mostly prime wethers, which realised 12s <)d to tjs yd. Lambs were of secondary quality, and were slow of sale at 9s 6s to 10s each. We quote' Best beef, 24s to 25s per ioolbs. : second rate, from 22s and upwards ; mutton, 2] to 2d£ per lb.

London Markfts.— London, March 15 : The three per cent, consols remain at ggj. New Zealand securities arc unchanged. Adelaide wheat, cx_ warehouse, 49s 6d ; New Zealand wheat, ex ship, 455; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 345. Australian tallow : Best beef, 33s 6d ; best mutton, 36s Cd. Best Australian sole leather has declined to lojd. London Wool Sale.— London, March 15 : At the wool sale to-day, gfoo bales were catalogued, making a total of 286,900 offered since the opening. There was a, good demand.
