MR. W. TAYLOR AND THE MANGAPIKO BOARD.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — I am instructed to request you to coi rect a printer's error in the repoi t of the last meeting of the Mangapiko District Board. The report states that Mr W. Taylor refused to purchase certain roads, and that the Board considered that £.? per acre for the best, and £1 per acre for the inferior land, was a moderate value. If £3 is read in the place of £5, the coirect version would be given, and the ratepayers of the district thereby have a light understanding of the difference between the Board and Mr Taylor. — I am, &c, N. T. Mauxpek, Secretary Mangapiko District Board. Paterangi, March 12, 1881.
