The Stock sold from Pet 2nd have averaged £407 15s each. For further particulars see Herd Book. Also, Roan Heifer, with calf at side, by 3rd Duke of Butterflies. Todhunter, Esq., and are by the 3rd Duke of Butterflies, 11th Duke of Derrimut, and Red Prince. Their dams are by Emmet (imported), and Duke of Tyne from imported cows. Mr Todhunter's herd has been in formation for upwards of forty years. It was founded by the late Mr W. C. Wentworth, and from its establishment to the present time nothing but the best imported and colonial bred stock has been used.
