(Taylor) . . . . 2 Natator, Bst. 61bs. (Derritt) . . . . 3 Redeemer, King Quail and Rocket also started. £324 were in the totalisator, £36 on the winner, Natator being a warm favourite. ' Libeller was the quickest away, but Redeemer soon rushed to the iront, and cut out the running, the pace however, being very slow. Randwick, with great effort of speed, got the best of the run home opposite the Stand, and maintained it to the end, staving off a determined rush made by Libeller, who was beaten by a head ; Natator, a third of a length away, was third, Redeemer fourth King Quail fifth, and Rocket sixth.
