Christchurch, Last Night.

The Reehabites' Annual District Council met thin morning. All District Officera were present except Mr Banket, of Dunedin. The report of the Dit-trict Officer.-* stated that during the year two tents had been opened, one dissolved, and three new tents about to be opened. In addition to those already telegraphed, the following have been declared by the University Senate to have reached matriculation standard in the junior gcholarHhip examination: —Catherine Alexander, ChriMtchurch ; Reginald Hod»house Cocks, Christchurch: Herbert McClelland EnglLsh, Christchurch ; Herbert James, Auck- j land ; Robert Lamb, Christchurch; Ada Price, Christchurch; Arthur Robinson, Christchurch ; Thos. K. Sidey, Dunedin ; Thos. Kirkpatrick Thomson, Nelson; Sidney T. Twentyinan, Christchurch; Alfred Henry Williams, Christchurch; Carolina Woodly, Christchurch. Robert Francis Irvine, of the Canterbury College, has been awarded the Bowen prize of 18S0 for his es«ay. The Commission to enquire into the management of the Asylum took further evidence to-day, and adjourned till tomorrow.
