The following te the annual 'report for 1881 :— ' ' The committee of the Wesleyan Sunday, school hare much pleasure in presenting 1 the annual report for 1881. During the yoar numerical progress' has 'been, made, while the work of the two' last past years ha* resulted in doubling the number of scholars. School is conducted on Sabbath mornings only. The total numberof ucholare on the roll is 82. There are 13 teachers on roll, 11 of whom are fully, accredited, and two are now undergoing the"nsi&| term of probation for that position. The following election of office, bearers for 1881 has been mads by the fea'ohers:— Mr Smerdon, Superintendent; Mr John Hough ton, Secretary ;■ Mr F. Jones, Librarian. A large order i or Jibrary books has been forwarded throiigh one of the book-sellers to England. These volumes are expected shortly to arrive, and their addition to the HbrSry will make tbi* partment of the school specially attractive to the reading .Scholars. The proceeds of this entertainment will be devoted to the' library fund. ' In conclusion, the teachers request a continuance of the prayerful sympathy and" aid of the parents of the scholars, and of all interested in the important work of moral itnd religious training of the young, so that their labours may not be in vain in the Lord. ' \
