Auckland, Last Night.

At the Presbytery to-day, the consideration of a call from the united congregations of Onehunga and Mangere, to Rev. Mr Bruce, of Waikato West, was taken up. Citation having been returned duly signed, and deputies from Onehunga and Mangere heard, and a letter from the Rot. James Bruce announcing his acceptance of the call, it was moved by the Rev, Mr Norrie, seconded by the Rev. Mr McKinney, "That the Presbytery agree to translate the Rev. James Bruce from Waikato West to the united charge of OnehnngA and Mangere." It was aa^reed that the Presbytery meet for the induction of the Rev. Jan. Bruce in the Onehunga Church on the 2nd, of March. It was agreed, on the motion of the Rev. Mr Norrie, seconded by the Rev. Mr Carrick, "That the Rev. Mr Evans be appointed tv the charge of Waikato West, vaoant on the sth March, and to act as moderator during the vacancy, and that the matter of supply for the charge be remitted to him and to the session there," He the report of the Commissioners appointed to confer with the congregations at Nffaruawahia and Hamilton, sent in by the Revs. Runoiman and Read, on the motion of the Rev. Mr Evans, seconded, by the Rev. Mr McKinney, the report was adopted, and it was resolved, to request i the Church Extension Committee to do, what they could to meet the views of tb.e people in those districts. The City Committee arrived at .an amicable settlement of the differences with the Board of Education, the Committee obtaining 1 every point it stipulated for.
