The. Harbour Board election to-day resulted in the rejection of Captain McKen/ie and the retura of members pledged to the bigr dock. The Property Tax Reviewers decided that a Building Society ia liable for taxation ou its capital. Francia Halbeck Shepherd, a member of the Auckland Bowing 1 Club, has been arrested on a charge of robbing the pockets of members of the club while they were out pulliug. The property waa found on him.
