Mr Rolleston left by the 4 o'clock coach for Wanganui, en route for the Waimate Plains. Mr Rolleston's absence will probably extend oTer a week. Mr Dink, who arrived from Australia by the Rotamnhana and makes a very brief stay in Dunedin, i8 expected to roach Wellington on Friday. Mr Oliver will probably follow by the next steamer arriving 1 on Sunday. Major Atkinson, though Htill vory lame, leaves for Tarauaki to attend a weddingin hie family.
