Distance, 1 V miles. Weights at 8 p in. Thursday, February 17. Consolation Handicap, of 20 soys.; ll l t miles. Nomination, 1 soy. Acceptance, 1 soy. Selling Hack Race, of la soy.; l miles Weight, 10 btone. Winner to be sold for 20 novs. ; surplus to Race Fund. Post entries, 10s. Horses to take their age from l«t August. Nominations for Handicaps to be sent to the Secretary Waikato Turf Club, Hamilton, on or before Wednesday, February 2, 1881, at 8 o'clock p.m. Entiies for Maiden Plate and President's Stakes close on Friday, February 1 1 , at 8 o'clock p.m. Weights will be published on Thursday, February 3. Acceptances and general entries will be received up to Friday, February 11. Entrance money enclosed, with the name, age, and pedigree of horse, and colours of rider. Weights for Publicans' Purse, Thursday, February 17, at 8 o'clock p.m. Acceptances before first race second day.

No entry will be received for any of the races except upon this condition : That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out ot the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with carrying out of this programme shall be final. All Races to be run under the Y.R.C Exiles. Any Jockey riding except in the eoloientered will be fined 3 soys. No entry will be received ou :my pio tence whatever after the hour named, or without being accompanied by the necibbitry mitviutt of caoh. Auckland cheques carry exchange. All persons intending to ■withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales, one half-houv before starting Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine, not exceeding 5 soys. to the Kace Fund. All piotestsurust be accompanied with a deposit of 5 soys., which sum will be forfeited to the Race Fund if the protest is not sustained. Owners of Horses who are not Members of the Club, pay 1 soy. qualification. Horses walking over, will receive 50 per cent* of the stakes.
