The Troublesome Ashantees. London, February 4.

The Daily News publishes today a telegram stating that the Ashantees threaten to make war against the settlers and the liaaives of the colony of Siena Leone, on the "West Coast of Africa. The telegram further states that, in consefjuenoe of the attitude of the Ashantees a detachment of the Ist West India Kegjment, stationed at Freetown, has been ordered to proceed to the border to oppose any attack.
