Welington Races. The Waikato Turf Club Summer Meeting.

The following weigh ta were declared last nigltt for the above meeting, and judging from the list, a most impartial handicap has been adjusted. At one time it was feared that the absence of the Southern horses would have materially affected the number of entries, but it is gratifying to find that such in not the case, and it is to be hoped a large field will face the starter: —

By some mistake, jLhe printed programmes of the Waikato Turf Club Summer Meeting are dated the 18th and 19th of February, It should be Thursday and Friday, the 17th and 18th inst. This afternoon, at 2 o'clock, Mr Kennedy Hill will dispose of the Grand Stand, booths, and other privileges in connection with the above races, at his auction mart. As the committee have put forth an excellent programme, no doubt the bidding will be spirited, as a large attendance is expected at the forthcoming meeting.
