LATEST CABLEGRAMS. [METRE'S TELEGRAMS.] Mr Gladstone on the Irish Coercion Bill. London, Feb. 2.
In the Houee of Commons last evening, Mr Gladstone gave notice that he would propose that a majority of three-fourths of the House, on the motion of "urgency," should suffice to give the Speaker supreme control over the Cabinet, and give him immediate power to suppress disorder. Mr Gladstone's proposal is made in view of a disorderly scene which occurred last night in the House on the Irish Coercion Bill.
