The Forces for the Transvaal. London, January 31.
In the House of commons Mr Childera, Secretary for War, in reply to a question, uid that the total reinforcements expected to arrive at Durban, in Natal, by February 10, for seryi<se in the Transvaal, was 4500 men. He added that the Boers had not committed any outrages, and would be treated according to the rules of civilised warfare.
