S. JOHN'S CHURCH.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir. — At the adjourned meeting of parishioners held on Monday, the 24th instant, attention was drawn by Mr J. B. Teasdale (Parochial Warden), to a paragraph which had appeared in your newspaper referring to the alleged ritualistic practices of the clergyman of this district ; and it was resolved "That, this meeting considers that the telegram published in the Waikato Times of Tuesday, January 18th, and signed '• Own Correspondent," is likely to mislead the public as to the reason why church officers were not elected at the annual meeting of parishioners held hero on Monday, the 17th instant. That meeting was adjourned (after the parish accounts had been passed and minister's wardeu elected), in consequence of no one present being willing to undertake the responsible ofiice of Parochial "Warden, and that this meeting is further of opinion that no ritualistic practices have been introduced, in the Church, to their knowledge, " Trusting that you will be so good as to insert this letter in your next issue. We aie, &c. Thos. Hunt, ) ™ , , J. B. Teasd^ j Churchwardens Te Awamutu, January 23th.
