Mr. Bright on the Irish, trouble. London, January 28.
In tin House of Coinmoin Übt evening the (I- b ite on the second reading of the Irish Coercion Bill, giving the Viceory power until October, 1882, to arrest and detain nil persons guilty or suspected of treasonable conduct, and to limit the Bale and pos-p'-sion of arms, wai commenced. Several members spoke duiing the evening, but the chief upeaker was the Right Hon. John Bright, President ot ihe Board of Tiadc, who addrps&ed the House in Bfcrong terms of justification of the action of the Government in proposing coercive measuict, and the repression of the prevailing disorder in Ireland. The debate now sfcaudrf adjourned to the next sitting.
