The War? in the Transvaal. Capetown, January 28.
Nlswft ha« been received to-day from the Transvaal that the rivers have fallen, and the force under General Colley have been able to continue their advance in the Transvaal. The bodies of Boera which were lighted a few duys ago wwre again Been ahead of the line of march, and were apparently preparing to oppose the advance of the colonial troop*. Sir George Colley at onco ordered the artillery to open fire, and the infantry followed np the attack, but the enemy declined an engagement, and retired in haste.
