Ihe .sale of hides, skins and wool, on Tuesday, w is less in quantity than usual, but prices were fully sustained. Ihe cattle sale at Pap.ikur.i, on Wednesday, was fully attended, and all yarded found ready buyers ; several horses were also sold. At Remuera on Thursday, dam cattle were in good inquir), and brought from L8 to I 9 each. Store cattle in usual number met with a good demand at improved rates. Fat tattle in less than average numbers, 103 head yarded, last week's values were fully sustained; old cows and coarse tattle were 20s, but good steers were steady throughout the sale at 22s 6<l the ioolljs. Mieep were unusually plentiful, and some remained unsold; at first, last week's values were sustainud, but prices fell fully 2s per head as the sale proceeded, and ranged from 2}d to ijd the lb. Fat lambs were in moderate supply, and maintained 1 thtir value; shorn lambs brought 8s; in their wool, 9s to 13s 6d ; wethers, gs Gd to izs gd each. The bidding was steady at the Durham Yards on Friday. About the usual number were submitted, and, with very few exceptions, sales were effected. We quote hacks from L 6 15s to Li 7 10s. ; medium draught. Lo to L 27 ; heavy draught, L3b.— Cattle. : A very large number have been brought forward. The demand was 111 e\cess of the supply, and consequently an advance on Newmarket prices was given.— Sheep : 'lhe Newmarket yards weie completely crammed on Tuesday. Lambs were plentiful and of inferif r descriptions, and consequently suffered. Prices ranged from 5s gd to 13s.
