The Tallow Market. London, January 21.
Australian tallow lias advanced sixpence to one shilling per cwt., and to-day is quoted as follows : —Best beef, 34s 6d ; best mutton, 37s> 6d. Loxdon, January 21. The Union Bank of Australia has declared a dividend for the past halfyear at the rate of sixteen per cent per annum. Mr Southern, the well-known actor, is dead ; aged 31.
