Weights will appear in Auckland and Waikato papers on Thursday, February 3rd, 1881, with the exception of the Publican's Purse, which will be declared after the running of the Te Aroha Cup. Acceptance money payable to the Secretary, or Mr Percival, by Saturday, sth February, 1881, before 8 p.m. Acceptance for Publicans' Purse will be received up to a quarter of an hour before starting. No entry will be received except upon the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 3 soys, which will be forfeited to the funds of the Club, should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
