Separate Written Tenders will be received until Noon of SATURDAY, the loth January, lSdl, for the Supply and Delivery of Coal and Coke. They must be addressed to the General Manager of New Zealand Railways, Wellington, and marked outside, " Tender for Coal." Specifications can be seen, and forms of Tender obtained at the Offices of the Railway Managers, at Auckland, Whangarei, Napier, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Nelson, Picton, Greymouth, We^tport, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Telegraphic Tenders will be received, if presented at any Telegraph Office by Noon of the same date, provided that Written Tenders in due form are lodged at a Railway Manager's Office by the same hour. pUBLIC NOTIFICATION. Persons holding J icenses to Slaughter Cattle within the County of Waikato, who have not obtained Renewals, are reminded that their Licenses expired on 31st December. Applications for Licenses must bo accompanitd by a fee of 2s 6d. Fresh Licenses will not be granted until Returns have been rendered and Fees paid to the above date. JAS.
