WAITOA HIGHWAY BOARD.
Tenders.
riIENDERS are required for Tenders X Nos. 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. No. 8. Road from <Mornnsville to Richmond. This contract opm* prises 2 bridges, and 7 culverts, from 3ft to 18 inches, besides pipe drains, outfalls, side drains, cuttings, &c, &c, and extends over six miles m length. No. 9. Painting the bridges over the Piako river (2), Waitoa, Piako*' iti, Topihaehae (2), and Waitakaruru Creeks — 7 in all. No. 10. Cuttings on the Gorge road. No. 11. Ploughing, clearing, and levelling main road between Waitoa and Pirauniu streams, about 80 chains. No. 12. Carting' about 300 yards of earth on to road to the diggings near Thames river. Tenders are to be in by noon of Saturday, the 18th inst., (the time for No. 8 Contract being extended from the 4th to the 18th inst., addressed " The Ckairman Waitoa Highway Board, MorrinsTille." PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
To the Ratepayers, Kirikiriroa Highway District.
YOU are hereby publicly notified that the Road Board Trustees intend to STOP the undermentioned ROADS in accordance with provision contained in " The Public Works Act, 1880," and by agreement with owners take other lands in exchange for the purpose of making new roads in lieu of those stopped, viz — Ist A road containing 2 acres, 1 rood, 29 perches, bounded on the North-west and terminating at the boundary line of lots 35 and 36, the property of Mr Matthew Walsh, parish of Kirikiriroa. 2nd A road containing 1 acre, 1 rood, 9 perches, passing through lot 122, hospital reserve, and also 2 acres 17 perches, passing through lots 121 and 120, the property of Mr Nichol, parish of Koinokoran. 3rd A- road containing 2 acres, 1 rood 17 perches, passing through lot 209, and also 1 acre 2 loods,
through lot 217, the property of Mr Lovell, parish of Komokorau. A map, and accurate description of the above may be inspected at the residence of the undersigned for 12 weeks from the date hereof.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
To the Ratepayers, Kirikiriroa Highway District.
YOU are publicly notified that the Road Board Trustees have resolved to stop two roads on the property of F. R. Claude, Esq. , hereinunder described, viz:— 1. A road containing 1 acre, 2 roods, 15 perches, situated in the parish of Kirikiriroa, commencing at the northwesternmost corner of lot 215, bounded generally northeasterly by lines 640 and 1000 links respectively : Thence generally southwesterly by a public road, 132 links and by lines 868 and 869 links respectively, thence northerly by a public road to commencing point 124 links or thereabouts. t . A road containing 5 acres, 1 rood, 14 perches, more or less situated in the parish of Kirikiriroa commencing at a point distant from the southeasternmost angle of lot 223, 369 links, oounded southeasterly by a line 102 links ; thence southwesterly by a line 5382 links ; thence northeasterly by a public road 120 links ; thence northwesterly by a line to commencing point 5305 links or thereabouts. TO CONTRACTORS.
fpENDERS, endorsed "Tender for X Earth Work," addressed to the Chairman, Kirikiriroa Highway Board, Hamilton East, will be received up to noon, ou WEDNESDAY, the sth day of January next, for about 301)0 yards Earth Work, more or less. Members of the Board will meet Contractors on the Hamilton-Hokonui road, near Rumney's, on Wednesday, the 15th instant, at 11 a.m., to show the work. JAS.
