LAST NIGHT'S NEWS. [BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.] (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENTS.)
Auckland, Last Night. At a meeting of the North Auckland Cattle Board to-day, it was resolved that the Board approve of the action taken by the inspector in permitting cattle ex Hero from Melbourne being transhipped into the Comerang, and that the cattle be kept on board until the subject is further considered by the Board. It was further resolved that Messrs Dihvorth and Morria wait upon the Premier with reference to Government erecting shed and sinking well for the accommodation of imported cattle at Motuhi.
