Copies of Prospectus and forms of Application for Shares can be obtained from the Biokers, Provisional Directors, or f om any of the Branches of the Bank of New Zealand in this Colony, until the J 3th day of December, 1880, at which date Jill applications must be in the hands of the JJiokers, when the list will posi-

tively be closed and shares allotted. Specimens of Caswell Sound Marble can be s.ctu at any of the Mu&eunis in New Zealand ; the Chamber of Commerce, Wellington ; or on application to any ot the Officers of the Company. In introducing this eligiblo investment to the noticp of the. public, the promoter desire to state that the Company's right-, comprise the beat, most> available, extensive, aud perhaps most valuable Marble deposits in the known world, at all events iv the Southern Hemisphere. This is suinoiently proved by Caswell Sound Ma ble secunug 1 the first prize at the late S \ duey Exhibition against Italian" stutiiiury and other valuable varieties. They also wi>h to dwell upon its known cerlaiuty and non-speculiitive character, the ultimate success of this venture being now well established. The lowest quotation for this Marble is 12^ per toot and ranges up to £o. Larger blocks aie, however, much more valuable, some pure while statuary, without flaw, realising as much as £20,000 sterling iv Europe. The ordinary price for a block suitab'e for a life-size humau statue being about £1000. The present cost of producing this Marble by manual labour only is about 2a- per cubic foot, f . o. b. These figures may appear incredible, bat they are nevertheless absolutely correct. Thus, taking the cost of production as stated aud the very lowest wholesale quotation at 12s per foot, gives the apparently fabulous minimum rate of 500 per cent, profit. It is therefore, no visionary matter, as these are leading commercial lines and the values well known, the facilities of pioductiou, shipment, high quality of product, giving a vast advantHge over any like property in the world. We will also ventuie to predict that the value of the Company's sh.nes will increase at least 300 pr cent, within twelve months of isMie. Referring to consumption of the:re commodities, it is also enormous, The consumption of Marble, Pcitland Cement, and Lime in the Australian Colonies alone during tho last twelve months has been £2,872,000 sterling, and rapidly increasing, Caswell Sound is a cr.mmodius and safe harbour for the larger vcsbels in all weathers, the works of the Company being situated at the waters edge. The Government of this Colony has also promi ed to favouiably consider special grunts and concessions in aid a« soon a< the Company is succesbf ully floated, For further paiticulars re other mineials found sit the Sound, copj)er, coal, gold, ' &c, abo the manufacture of hydraulic cement, lime, &c, &c, together with scicntiiic, professional, Government, and other reports, with details of the objects and intentions of the Company, we reft-r to the Piospectu«, which can be obtained upon application to any of the oth'ceis of the Company, or from Company's Agents, the Bank of New Zealand, at any of thtir branches in this Colony and Australia ; also at the oihee of this paper.
