Maize. — The total quantity of Maize exported from the Wai rod river alone, during the quarter ending 2nd October last, amounted to 7HO bushels. Large quantities were also shipped from Malua, Whakrki and Mohaka, ot which we have no record yet, but by the end of the season we expect the total export of this commodity will be something considerable. The trial shipment of maize »ent to the Auckland market, has eventuated successfully, the entire cargo having brought an average price of 38 3d per bushel,
