VICTORIAN- RACING CLUB'S SPRING MEETING. (BY CABLE.) [ OWN CORRESPONDENT.]

Melbourne, Yesterday. The fourth day's racing in connection with the above Club took place on Saturday on the Flemington Course. His Excellency the Marquis of Normanhy and suite were present, and the attendance was large. The weather was delightful. The Cup and Derby winner scored another victory, carrying off the Mares' Prod uco Stakes, beating Progress easily by a length ; Mulatto, third. For the Fleraington Stakes twenty-three started, which was won by the Hon. J. White's Monmouth ; Welcome Jack, second ; and Topaz, third. It was a very fast race, and won only by half a length. Mata, who was a great favorite for the V.R.C. Handicap, and freely supported by the New Zealanders, beat The Pontiff by half a length and won ; Secundus securing thiri place.
