Prices were quite as high as the previous jveck, and lots submitted by auction were cleared at satisfactory prices, although in a few exceptional cases resen es could not be reached. -We quote hacks from L 5 7s 6d to L 6 10s ; light harness horses, from Ln to Ll9 ss; draught, L 33 15s.— Hides and Skins.- Inhere was a mpderate supply, on Tuesday, and spirited demand. Hides sold at from 3^dta3^d; skins, from is ndtosS7d; bags wool in grease, B,{d to B£d.7-Cattle : A \ery largo number again changed hands. The fair, on Monday, at Papakura, was again a great success, although not quite so many were catalogued as on the previous month.— At Newmarket, on Tuesday, although the heavy downponr prevented several lots from being brought fonvard, there was a good muster, and at the regular monthly sale at Papakura, notwithstanding the fair being held on the pre*ious Monday in the same yards, there was an unusually large muster.
