Hercules is a bay horse, 8 years old, and btandfi I<s] hands high, combines the best of blood with good bone and immense power, and has proved himself a good horse on the turf. At the Cmterbury meeting in 1876, won the Grand Stand Handicap, 1 mile, in 1 nun. 50 bees., carrying 8 ht. 2 lbs., beating 6 others. In the same year won the Hawkes Bay Stakes, 2 miles, in 4 mins. i\ sec>\ , beating Fishhook and the Maori Weed.
Hercules will travel on and after Itt October, calling at the undermentioned places : — Mondays — Leave Cambridge, calling at Ohaupo and Alexandra. Tuesdays — Te Awn mutu and Kihikihi

Sire, Royal Prince, who gained first prize at Glasgow as a three-year-old ; second prize at the Highlaud Society* Show ; also £100 premium from the Linlitbgow Society. Royal Prince is by Prince of Waled, the property of L. DieAV, Esq., Merry ton. Star and Garter's dam was by Jtflaok Prince, who took the fii>t premium at the Highland Society's Show Perth, and first premium at the Linlithgow Society's Show.
