Sale of Waimate Plains. Hawera, Last Night. The Waimate sale is proceeding, with numerous attendance of speculators. Four deferred payment sections remaining unsold yesterday were first disposed of among applicants, realising about £6 10s per acre j 88 casli sections open to all bidder* were , disposed of. Bidding .was keen, but sale proceeds slowly. Thirty sections Were sold averaging £6 5a per acre, the highest value realised being £7 3s. Land on Waingoagoro river fetched the highest price.
, Stone from Te Ar»haGrafcamstown, Last Night. Another parcel of stone from Te Aroha is attracting much attention, and is on exhibition here.
