Hercules is a bay horee, 8 years old, and stands 15} hands high, combines the best of blood with good bone and immense power, and has proved himself a good horse on the turf. At the Canterbury meeting in 1876, won the Grand Stand Handicap, 1 mile, in 1 mm. 50 sees., carryiugS st. 2 lbs., beating 6 others. In tne same year won the Hawkes Bay Stakes, 2 miles, in 4 xnins. 4h sew., beating Fishhook and the Maori Weed.
Hercules travel on and after Ist October, calling at the undermentioned places : — Mondays — Leave Cambridge, calling at Ohaupo and Alexandra. Tuesdays—Te Awarautu and Kihikihi Wednesdays— Kihikihi Thursdays— Will call at Rotorangi on his retnrn to Mr W. K. Carter's, Cambridge, where he remains the rest of the week.
