Where hares and rabbits are troublesome to the garden, a patoh of the hohl rabi may be planted at a distance away for their special use, when they will not trouble the garden, as they prefer it to all other vegetables. An additional lot of cucumber seed should be sown under glass, to furnish plants for putting out next month, and those already bearing in the frames should have top -dressings and a good supply of water.
