PROPERTY ASSESSMENT ACT. Property-Tax Office, 1 Wellington, 15th October, 1880. THE 25th October having been prescribed ac the latest day fbr sending in statements of property, the following section of the Act is published for general information :—: — 31. Every person owning any property shall apply for the forms pesT'ibed for furnishing accurate statements of his property required by this Act ; and any person failing to furnish such statements shall not be exempted from any penalty he may have incurred thereby, by reason only that he received nd personal notice ' to furnish the same, or that proper forms of ' returns were not delivered to him. In the matter of " The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1876," and the several Acts amending the same, and of the Bankruptcy of CHARLES K*Y, of Hamilton, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the "Colony of New Zealand, Bricklayer, a Debtor. "VTOTICE is hereby given that at a XN General Meeting of Creditors, held on Monday, the twenty-fifth day of October instant, at two o'olock in the afternoon, at the Court-house, Hamilton, it was unanimously agreed that the said debtor should be forthwith discharged from all debts provable under the said Bankruptcy, and also that the abovenamed debtor, CHARLES KAY, intends to apply to the above-named Honourable Court on TUESDAY, the sixteenth day of November next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, or as soon thereafter as he can be heard on that bihalf for an order of discharge under the provisions of the said Act, and that the Trustee's Report in the above matter has been filed in the said Court.
