Cambridge District and serve a limited

number of Mares this season. FEVE is a golden chestnut, 15*3 high, and stands over a deal of ground on short flat legs. Pedigree : — By Lord Clifden, dam Haricot by Mango or Lanercost — Queen Mary by Gladiator— her dam by Plenipotentiary — Myrrha by Whalebone. Lord Clifden by Newminster, dam The Slave by Melbourne. A glance at the above will show that Feve is one of the best bred horses ever exported from England. Terms — lOgs. each for thoroughbred mares ; 6gs. each for half-bred mares ; two or more mares, the property of one owner, by agreement . Good paddocks will be provided at Gorton and at Woodlands, near Cambridge, at 2s 6d per week. The Horse will be in Cambridge each Tuesday, and at Wpodlands that nipht. From thence down the Hamilton Road to the Narrows Road on Wednesday, and return by the Tamahore Road to thw Farm of Mr All will. Hercules is a bay horse, 8 years old, and stands 15£ hands high, combines the best of blood with good bone and immense power, and has proved himself a good horse on the turf. At the Canterbury meeting in 1876, won the Grand Stand Handicap, 1 mile, in 1 nun. 50 sees., carrying 8 at. 2 lbs., beating 6 others. In the same year won the Hawkes Bay Stakes, 2 miles, in 4 mins. 4h sees., beating Fishhook and the Maori Weed.

Hercules will travel on and after Ist October, calling at the undermentioned places : — Mondays — Leave Cambridge, calling at Ohaupo and Alexandra.
