Ned Kellys Trial. Melbourne, October 18.
The trial of Ned Kelly commenced to-day. .Superintendent Hare, who was wounded at Glenrowan, and whose condition has for some time been critical, has now rallied and is improving. Sydney, October 18. A destructive fire at Wagga Wagga destroyed Nasgarte Hall and several business buildings. £10,000 worth of property was destroyed, The fire raged for live hours. The insurances include £SoQ in local, and the New Zealand and Colonial Offices, besides £5250 in other offices,
