Cambridge Club v. A.C Force. The annual match between the above representative teams was played on the reserve on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a victory for the Cambridge club by 33 runs. Mackintosh, captain of the Cambridge Club winning: the toss, sent Stubbing and Cotton to the wicket, Who wore speedily sent to the right about, and Rhodes quickly followed suit. Things looked hopeful for the A.C, but Mackintosh aud Pearson settling 1 down to work soon put a different aspect on the g"ame, the former contributing 17 by a patient and steady innings, and the latter kept the field moving by a merry 32. Moore, and M. .Stubbing "totled" a well deserved brace of 9, and the last wicket "tottered" Ito a score of 05. Cooper, captain of the A.C. with great hopes of sustaining their j prestige, sent in Fitzpatrick and KilI kenny. but A. Stubbing, who was fairly "dead on," kept the umpire busy regulating the wickets. Fitzpatrick, and Hinton only succeeded in reaching double figures, the former, an exceptionately patient innings. The last wicket fell for 62. The Club followed for their second innings, and when time was called had reached 39 for the loss of 4 wickets. Subjoined is the scores : —
