RESIGNATION OF SIR JULIUS VOGEL.
The Government have received a com. muuication from Sir Julius Vojrel, explicitly tendering- his resignation as Agent-General. At a Cabinet mpeting yesterday the matter was considered, and it was decided definitely to accept his resignation, and Sir Julius Vogel wjs advised accordiugly. The appointment of a successor, together with tto.h o . salary, and other points relative to the A<rent-General, are now under the consideration of the Government.
