From the above pedigree it will be seen that owners of mares can get the very best combination of stout and fast blood to be obtained in the Southern hemisphere, vide the grand performances of the stock of the above sires — Dainty Ariel, Maribyrnong, and Yattendon. The above Horse will leave his box on Mondays for the purpose of travelling to Te Awamutu via Narrow's Bridge, remaining at the Ohaupo Hotel from 10 to 12 a.m., arriving at Te Awamutu on evening of same day, where he will remain until Wednesday. From thence to Hewitt's Hotel, Cambridge, and home Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There will be no business of any kind done on Sundays. Parties wishing to send mares can rely upon every attention being paid them, for which Is per week will be charged for grazing.

Hercules is a bay horse, 8 years old, and stands 15} hands high, combiues the best of blood with good bone and immense power, and has proved himself a good horse on the turf. At the Canterbury meeting in 1876, won the Grandstand Haudicap, 1 mile, in 1 mm. 50 sees., carrying 8 st. 2 lbs., beatina: 6 others. In the same year won the Hawkes Bay Stakes, 2 miles, in 4 roins. 4^r spo.-». , beating Fishhook and the Maori Weed.
