BUGGY ACCIDENT.

A vbby nasty aocident which might have been attended with more serious results happened to Mrs. Suowden of Hautapu on Thursday., Accompanied by her little child, Mrs Snowdeu was driving a buggy to Cambridge, and when near Mr Fanthams gate the horse, shied at some stray cows on the road, and 'becoming 1 restive kicked the front of the buggy in, and broke the shafts, Mrs Snowden being by some means thrown to the ground, sustaining a very severe shaking. Fortunately the little child was unhurt. As soon as the occurrence became known, prompt assistance was rendered by Mr Fantham who after having ascertained the extant of the injuries receired by Mxa. Snowden kindly sent that lady home in his own trap. Stray cows from tlw township, are becoming a regular nuisance along this road.
