The banquet to the memlvr fo" Waikato, t3iidored by the Cambridge portion of his constituents, comes off in the Public Hall, Cambridge, this evening. The justly eariud popularity of Mr Whyte will doubtless ensure that the afTair Mill be a auccj'iS. We understand that a number of visitors from Hamilton will be present, and the Attorney-General and the member for Waiju (Mr F. A. Whitaker) will be amongst the guests. Mr Whyte will avail himself of the opportunity presented to-night to give an account of his stewardship during the session.
