The Wool Sales. London, Sept. 28.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report : — " Wool : The sales closed firm. We expect next sales will open about present quotations; Superior combing washed advanced Id since close of last sales ; superior greasy advanced id to Id ; scoured, market firmer ; clothing, market unchanged . I crossbred firmer ; lambs, market unchanged. The principal advance being in i.uperior greasy, and superior combing and washed. Trade in manufacturing districts slightly better."
