The Australian cricketers will be entertained by the Lord Mayor of London on the Bth of October.

London, September 25. The match between Australia v. Blayers comes off on Monday. Tho Home team comprise the following professionals:— Barlow,' Bates, Barnes, Emmett, Jupp, Locfcwood, Moriey, Mycroffc, Pilling, Selby, and Shaw. The cricket match Australians v. Eleven of Nottingham has been concluded. The home team continued their first innings which closed for 88. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and only succeeded in putting together 77 runs. Nottingham then requiring 131 to win the match went in for their second innings and succeeded in scoring the required number for the loss of nine wickets, thus winning the match by one wicket. There was great excitement over the finish of the game. In the first innings of Nottingham Boyle and Palmer for the Australians bowled splendidly, each taking five wickets.
