WHATAWHATA SCHOOL MATTERS.
TO THE EDITOB. Sib, — Inferring to the letter of '•Another Committee Man," in your issue of September 9th, I oannot help express sing my surprise that your local correspondent should send you a so-called report of a meeting when he was not present at it. It is evident from that
letter that the, report waa a mere exparte statement, furnished by one of those who made themselves conspicuous by their violent attack on the teacher. * ' Another Committee Man" implied sneer, about change of sides on my part caused by business necessities, is utterly unjustifiable, no suoh change having taken place; but I may retort that the ohange is on the part of your correspondent, who was formerly an admirer of Mr Boler, and' seems to have allowed himself to be lead into an error in pursuing suoh an eroneous report. After all, there is every allowance to be made for young and inex- ' perienced members of the committee, who are not yet out of leading strings. — I am, &c, Fair Play.
