Mr Gladstone's late Illness. London, September 11.
Mr Gladstone caused a letter to be published expressing his thanks for the sympathy shown him during his late illness. The interview held between Bismarck and Baron Yon Haymerle, AustroHungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs, will it is expected result in a close alliance between Germany and Austria. The question of the future of Boumania has been discussed by Prince Bismarck and the Austrian Minister, and it was agreed in favor of that Principality being formed' into a United Kingdem.
