Markki. — Mr. JUirkland's Weekly Report : At the H.iv market, on Friday last, fodder was at low values, 2s Od to ss the twt. ; oats, 2s 2d and 2s 3d; maize, 3s 4d and ',* sd ; barley, 2s id the bushel ; potatoes, £l 10s the ton. A waggonette, £42 10s ; active draught hones, from £21 to £35 each. On Tuesday, of the hides pitched none were of prime quality, all were dirty, and many were damaged. Prices ranged from ljd te 4d the lb. Sheepskins were in unusually large number, but in brisk demand, and ranged from is to ss 8d each. "YVell-woolled skins brought from 4s 4d to ss Bd. The monthly sale at Waiuku was more fully supplied with stock than usual, and with few exceptions all found ready buyers. At Pukekohe, on Monday, there was also an unusually large muster of >oung cattle. Above 150 head sold. Bidding was brisk, and prices obtained good throughout the sale. At the cattle fair, on Wednesday, there were a large number brought ferward in excess of the entries ; 600 sold at the auction, and about 100 head were reserved. Cattle were generally in very low condition, and prices varied considerably for cattle of the same ages, if in fresh condition and well bred. Prices obtained were high, but many pens of poor cattle brought but little money. Calves and yearlings sold relatively at highest values, and well-bred heifers brought higher prices than steers of the same age. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle sold more freely than for several weeks. Store cattle were numerous, and maintained the values of previous day. Fat cattle in average number; 138 head sold. Prices slightly lower, and ranged from 26s to 30s the loolbs. Sheep in full numbers ; about tooo yarded. Best quality only maintained previous l.ilue?; if not well iattcd they were considerably lower in priuD. Fat Jambs numerous, and brought from 10s to 16s each. Messrs Hunter ami Nolans Weekly Report. — Horses: The market has been unusually active, and a large number have changed hands. The entries for disposal by auction at the Durham Yards were much above the average. A draft of horses from T.ir.inaki attracted considerable attention, and bidding was spirited throughout the sale, and pricts were in most instances satisfactory to vendors. We quote : Harks, from 1 6 Vto 1.17;1 .17; light-harness, 1,14 10s to 1-2} i<;s; draught, 1.28 to 1,36 s*. Hides and skin« were in brisk demand. On Tuesday, hides sold
