London, August 27. The cricket match, Australians v. 18 of Stockport, was resumed to-day. The former continued their first innings, which closed for 70 (sic) runs. The home team then went in for their second innings, and scored 153. The Australians went to the wickets for their second innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had made 30 runs without the loss of a wicket. Bannennan had to retire hurt when he had scored 6.

Loxdon, August 28. The match between the ustralians and 18 of Stookport was concluded to-day, when the latter won the match by 118 runs.
