LAST NIGHT'S SITTING. Prorogation of Parliament.
After some further discussion, the Railway Construction Bill was read a second time on a division by 25 to 17, but on the understanding that it should not be further proceeded with this session. The Appropriation Bill was introduced and passed, and the House adjourned at 9. 30 for prorogation to-morrow.
