The Hamilton Contingent met at the butts oh Saturday for target practice. The weather was not promising from the commencement, and before the last range was reached a steady downpour had set in. The ranges were 200 yds., 300 yds., and 400 yds., the same-sized target being used throughout the practice ; this will account for the small scores at the last range. Taking this into consideration with the weather, the scores of Lieuts. Johnson and Hunt and Trooper Cochrune were well up to the average. The full score will be found below :—: —
