I beg to tender my sincere thanks to the inhabitants of Hamilton and the surrounding district for their kind patronage during the last mx years, and beg to intimate tlmt a rapidly increasing trade in the other branches of my business, viz., Drapery, Ironmongery, and Crockery, necessitates my giving up the Grocery department. I have therefore much pleasure in introducing my late assistant, Mr A. SCOTT, as my successor, to whom I have sold the whole of my Grocery Stock, and Avould specially solicit a continuance of the patronage so kindly accorded to me. N. R. COX. In reference to the above I have much pleasure in stating that 110 effort of mine shall be wanting to give satisfaction to all who may lavor me with a call, the guiding principle of my business will be strict integrity in all transactions, so those living at a distance who may favor me with an order, may rely upon being dealt with as if they were present, both as regards quality and price. None but first-class brands of goods kept, and the prices will compare favourably with any other busi-ness-place in Hamilton.
